Game of Thrones is famous for two things: the most unpredictable, gripping plot and the uncensored nudity. Being nude is not easy, that too in front of innumerable people. Well millions of people watching you on and off screen without any clothes on is a daunting task to say the least.
But actors have a job that requires them to act like the story expects them to. Recently The Sun interviewed our very own Khaleesi; Emilia Clarke regarding her mental preparation for the nude scene. Here’s what she had to say.
‘All I needed was vodka and some flattering lighting and I was ready, it was just a wonderful, strong moment I wanted to own, a real empowering, girl-power wow scene.’
The British actress added:
‘I’m just feeling genuinely happy I said yes [to the scene].’
In her pride that she opted not to use a body double, she appeared to be taking an unwitting swipe at her co-star Lena Heady, the show’s frosty queen mother Cersei Lannister whose Walk of Shame was performed by a body double.
